How can I tell if I got a full spectrum grow light vs a r...
I bought a plant stand off Amazon and it was advertised that it came with full spectrum grow lights. But they donβt look like the grow lights I have for my hydroponic system, which I know has full spectrum lights. Is there a way I can tell? The manual it came with doesnβt have any CCT information. #GrowLights

Hi Ellen π they can be full spectrum AND led! Full spectrum just means they emit the full bandwidth if visible light (like we get from the sun) so they appear white to our eyes. So, if it's white light grow light... You've got full spectrum π₯° The other kind of grow light is the red/ blue kind, but they can be a strain for me... It's quite cool for a day or two but after that your neighbour might think your running a brothel if you keep them on 12/16 hrs a day like I do! Hahaha π€£ and the people light gets a bit trying eventually!
They probably look different just because of the design... I've had decent grow lights off Amazon but recently switched to Sansi lights and they are AMAZING! SO much more powerful than my earlier ones (but I was only leaving and they served a function when I didn't have lots of cash to spend! Lol and there are lots of good, cheaper ones... I just picked wrong I think! Haha π€¦ββοΈπ).
There's actually a Greg Group #light which is all about these questions and issues π you should check it out xx
