My Red Anne Nerve plant is drooping

I bought this nerve plant yesterday from Home Depot. It looked great and I watered it when I got home as it looked a little dry. The water seemed to run right through the pot. Today it is completely drooping. What can I do?
1ft to light, indirect
6” pot with drainage
Last watered 5 days ago
When nerve plants droop, that means they’re thirsty. I usually do the bounce test, which is when I bounce my hand on the top of the plant and if it feels nice and firm I know it doesn’t need water. If it does not feel firm I know it needs a drink. Also, the soil may be drying up quickly if the plant is root bound. You may need to size up or else the soil wont retain much moisture.
Thanks. I gave it lots of water yesterday. And today it started drooping. I think I need to repot it right away. I just don’t have time right now. It looks so sad right now. The photo on the plant card was from yesterday and I watered it after taking that photo yeaterday
In mean time until you can repot definitely continue giving her water. I know how much of a task repotting is πŸ˜…πŸ˜…
@Leafylife I gave it more water earlier today. Nothing. I even let it sit in water and nothing. I don’t know what to do
It’s also possible that the soil can by hydrophobic and unable to take in any moisture. That has happened to a few of my plants. If you have any soil on hand I would also recommend throwing out what’s currently in the pot
@Leafylife that’s what I think too. I just don’t have the time to do that right now. Maybe tomorrow I can try. It looked so good when I bought it yesterday. This is really stressing me out lol
