Hey there :) white plants and succulents usually need more direct light to conduct photosynthesis. Succulents love direct light and thrive in that environment. I will say that if you are watering and noticing that your soil is still damp a week or so later, you may be experiencing root rot and would need to treat it before your succulent succumbs to it.
