Leaves are dry
At the tips of the lower leaves, they are starting to dry and turn a little brown. A few of them started this way and then slowly the whole leaf withered up. Is this because of not enough water? Too much sun?

I have succulents that do the same thing every spring. I think it's just out with the old and in with the new. When the leaves get bad enough I just pluck them off to help promote growth to the rest of the plant.
Btw, that's a real cool plant you have there...do you have drainage in your pot?
Another thought, your pot could be root bound, maybe re-pot and fresh dirt.
