#CupressusMacrocarpa
1ft to light, indirect
4” pot with drainage
Last watered 4 months ago
Looks like it's near the window, if watering too much, could make it grow too fast and unable to hold up it's weight , could be underwatered too,saw you just watered, hopefully the watering works
@LeafyGreenz I’ve had my plant for a about a year now and haven’t had any issues. Mine is outside my front window facing East. I water it every week when the soil is dry to the touch. I turn mine a quarter of a turn every week so it gets even sun. It looks to me like your needles are drying out which usually indicates under watering and low humidity. I’d give it a good soaking and then add a pebble tray with water underneath the plant to improve moisture and humidity.
@SelectGollum54 @Shells_Garden Thanks for the tips! I don’t think humidity is a problem.. my room stays around 57%-61%. Never goes below 53%. Does it need more humidity than that? I checked it 4 days ago and noticed that the dirt was really dry, so dry that it was a big clump separated from the pot. I watered it and have now been keeping a much closer eye on it. I was kind of relying on Greg to tell me to water it lol, and I was surprised it got so dry. This morning it was dry again so I watered. I’m thinking maybe it just needs water more frequently.
@LeafyGreenz sometimes you have to water and then register it I Greg. The app will eventually catch up.
