Faded (Possibly Dyieng) Leaves

I’m new to plants, and was sold this beauty as a “low-maintenance” plant. I absolutely love it and have been watering it every 7-8 days according to schedule. She has direct sunlight during the day. My question is am I doing something wrong? What is wrong with the leaves and how can I fix it?
@PoshIvygourd43 It seems as if you're watering it too much. Kalancho are considered to be Succulents and don't do well on a schedule. Only water it when its soil is completely dry. Also, make sure it is in a pot with drainage and that there is no water left in the saucer after watering. That should fix it right up! 😁👍
@princesspitstop Thank you! I was just going by what this app said for watering schedule. It is in a drainage pot, but I have been pouring the water in a bowl underneath so it can just soak up what it needs and then dump the rest. I will definitely give this a try!!
@PoshIvygourd43 You're welcome 😁 Yeah what they don't tell you is that when the app tells you that it's time to water that it's more of a reminder to check the soil to make sure that the plant is ready for a drink. There are too many environmental factors that determine how quickly or slowly your plants soil dries out for an app to be able to positively say that it's ready. It can get pretty close but you will want to double check first then proceed depending on your plants care requirements. What I do when I get a new plant is I go online and type in the name of the plant then "care requirements" after it. There it will give you a better idea of how to keep the plant happy and thriving. I've been caring for plants for a while now and I still need to do that for my new babies. Welcome to plant parenthood Kay! 💚 Pretty soon you'll have a house full! It's addictive haha
