Does it still have that plastic around it?? If not, can you share a photo of what the plant looks like right now?
So, you'll definitely want to remove the plastic from around its pot. It's restricting airflow to the soil, which will prevent it from drying out and can potentially lead to root rot. As for the browning leaves, without photos I can only guess what might be causing it. These plants really don't like any water sitting on their leaves, it's a very common cause of brown spots with Tradescantia. Another possibility is too much direct sunlight, which can burn the leaves.
The plastic was removed and he has been repotted. I did just change his picture. He has new growth as well as the browning tips. Can you see the tips in the picture? Maybe, he’s getting too much sun? Thank you, for responding!
I'm having a similar issue with mine... i think it's because I didn't let it completely dry out between a watering and it caught the slightest root rot... they can be sensitive... but I have also seen it on some of the leaves that are breaking off due to growth... haven't fully narrowed it down. Good luck, looking forward to any better info than what I can offer x_X
