The flowers have wilted, what to do next?

Hi, I’m new to this gardening thing and not very knowledgeable, so apologies beforehand for any silly questions :) My plant’s flowers have wilted and I’m not sure if this is normal or if I did anything to cause it (over/under watering) and what my next step should be. Do I leave it alone? Do I prune it? If I need to prune, how should I prune it? Thank you :)
