Roots!!!!!

Hello! Nov 4, I purchased my first plant (tiger bark ficus β€œbonsai”) and i repotted it that same first week. it’s been doing fantastic, new growth everywhere even on old pruning that i didn’t think would grow again! However, yesterday I checked the underside for humidity and found a baby root that found it’s way somewhere it shouldnt be lol. Question is this: what should i do? should i just leave it but not let it dry out? Also: this was my very first plant and have since expanded to a jungle but i care about this tree so MUCH i need it to stay alive
6ft to light, indirect
6” pot with drainage
Last watered 3 years ago
You can tuck it back in or pop it off, I don't think it losing this single root will affect the plant any in my opinion
honestly, i agree with @skyhighsplants that you could tuck it or cut it off. i do bonsai and can promise that your ficus will still thrive without that root or if you tucked it back into the pot. bonsai trees generally like to be in a tight root environment, so i don’t think there is any need for concern. would love to get some more pictures of the r trunk curvature though!
Here’s the babe in question! The wire sucks but it’s for a stubborn branch 🀣 Thank you both for responding!!!! ps miss thing has popped out five more roots through the drainage holes
