Recommendations for outdoor veggie garden apps?
We have two raised beds in our yard. Do any of you have any recommendations for apps similar to Greg but for outdoor gardens? Maybe reminders for watering and planting or sowing? Thank you! #HappyPlants #VeggieGardens #raisedbeds #OutdoorGrowing #outdoorgardens
I use Greg for outdoor gardening too, as there are many members who do that and that works well with me. Greg is unique in that the members are almost entirely helpful and kind. @badkitten13 #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants #OutdoorGrowing I would be happy to answer your gardening questions (the ones I know something about) and I am sure others feel the same way.
@AC73LoveCats thank you! I wondered if I could use it for my raised beds and the veggies. Iβm glad to know it works for that too!
I use a good old fashioned composition book and just fine tuned my garden with some bells and whistles.. Timers and drip irrigation are a huge game changer! I only have to remember to turn the water switch on. Which is easy enough, I know I need to water every morning before work. I flick the switch and go back inside to get ready to leave. The timer goes and shuts off whenever its set for, turning the water off. I don't even need to stay around or anything. Flip & go! Major major game changer, everything is consistently watered, no water on leaves, soo much time saved, and I am not soaked with the hose lol π Just something to look into π I DO so wish they had an app just like Greg for garden beds, not separate plants. I couldn't possibly add all the plants I grow outdoors individually here, I'd be here for years π
Side question- What's everyone starting?! I have melons galore going, tomatoes, some cucs, herbs πΏ I do heirlooms mostly, odd, weird fruits and veggies that are unheard of lol

@PlantBeach thanks for the tip! We bought an irrigation hose to hook up to our rain barrel next to the beds so that should help with watering. Weβve started cukes and various beans and peas. Weβll probably buy tomato starts around Memorial Day. Weβre in northern Vermont so still have a chance for snow! Iβm so ready for summer!
