Hi Carol, is it in a pot without drainage? If so- it *has* to be in a pot with drainage hole/s. Also, yours is a Bonsai- just like mine. Terracotta pots w/drain, unglazed clay, or a traditional Bonsai pot are highly recommended. That allows the soil and roots to breathe, which is super important. Soil- a good substrate is necessary to help oxygen get to the roots. Regular soil will suffocate and kill the plant. Home Depot has a very good bonsai βsoilβ- not sure if a store near you will carry it, but .com sells it. I mix my own, but it can get costly if just doing one plant. I hope this helps.
The soil is probably staying too wet and the roots are suffocating. I would remove all the decorative stuff, soil needs to breathe so moisture can evaporate properly. And donβt water it again until the top couple of centimetres is dry.
After repotting it needs to stay put and recover. Light in the photo looks good, just donβt move it around.
Does that pot have good drainage?

@SillyPlantGirl thanks for the info! The pot doesnβt have drainage & I also used regular potting soil. I will check out Home Depot & also get a new pot! Thanks again!
@FamedGymealily Thanks to you too! I will repot in a pot that has drainage & remove the decorative stones.
