Is there a issue with my plant

#KentiaPalm
1ft to light, indirect
6” pot with drainage
Last watered 2 weeks ago
Hello πŸ‘‹ is there something in particular you’re referring to?
The actual health of the plant. I am new to this type of plant and I am not sure if it is healthy or not.
It looks good from the picture. As long as you’re meeting its care needs; bright light, water when almost dry, check for spider mites often, you should continue to have a good looking plant. 🌱
The cleaner you keep the leaves, the less likely you are to have a problem with spider mites. πŸ˜‰
Thanks so much. I truly appreciate the advice. Do you know what keeps spider mites away or how to get rid of them if they form?
Oh ok.
What is the best way to keep the leaves clean?

To stop brown leaves on a Kentia Palm from spreading, immediately increase humidity, adjust watering to avoid soggy or bone-dry soil, and keep the plant away from direct sun and heat vents. Trim the dead brown tips with sterile scissors, leaving a tiny brown margin to avoid damaging healthy green tissue. Key Prevention Steps:
Boost Humidity: Kentia palms love moisture. Place the pot on a tray filled with pebbles and water, or use a humidifier to prevent dry air from causing more browning.
Watering Routine: Allow the top 50% of the soil to dry out between waterings to avoid root rot, but never let it become completely dry.
Water Quality: Tap water with high chlorine or fluoride can cause tips to burn. Use filtered water or rainwater.
Relocate: Move the plant out of direct sun, which can scorch leaves, and away from drafts, heaters, or air vents.
Check Soil & Nutrients: If you suspect over-fertilization, flush the soil with water to remove salt buildup. Maintenance: Wipe leaves with a damp cloth to keep them clean and able to photosynthesize.
