Have any of you planted your Flamethrower in a pot?

@HipAsianrice28 I personally have not even heard of that plant before, so of course I had to look it up and found this online. You can grow a Flame Thrower® Redbud tree in a container, but it is best done as a temporary solution for young trees rather than a permanent home. Because redbuds naturally develop a deep taproot and a wide root system, keeping them pot-bound for their entire lifespan will eventually stunt their growth and cause health issues. So to answer your question, no I have not.
I pan on keeping her in the pot for this first year. I have to make sure I pick a good spot for her in my yard. We love ve in south west Oklahoma and have some pretty warm summers. Just wanted to know if anyone else had done it. Thanks
