Hi my zz plant is unhappy I have removed browning stems, but its also drooping. There's no root rot, but the rhizomes are skinny. Well draining large pot, SW facing no direct light in summer because of the balcony. How do I make it happy again? Thanks

I think some sun time could give it enough energy. Water is always important but sun is equally as important.😊

wrinkled stems is a sign of it asking for water! the soil looks dry to me but alternately it could be from overwatering/root rot

@KineticMum  These guys like bright indirect light though they will grow in lower light conditions. They also like to dry out completely before watering again. If it were mine I’d pot it in a smaller pot to not overwater . You say no roots are rotting so it could be a deficiency of some sort. Or overwatering .Do you feed it at least once a month during growing season ? Also what type of soil are you using ? A good mix for these guys is soil ,sand and perlite charcoal. Good luck
