I got this plant from Walmart but where would I buy some soil and am I supposed to take it out of the black container or keep it in it

Hi Abel, I would take it out of the black pot. They absorb heat and make the soil hot. A cactus mix will a little perlite will do well.

@BackupKiekie30  No a terracotta pot with drainage would be best . Planting it with no drainage will be the death of it
