Grow light for my Alocasia Longiloba

#AlocasiaLongiloba Hi everyone. I bought this beautiful alocasia at Home Depot on Friday. I read up on it and it says medium difficulty. The question I have is that I have a standing grow light. It’s not above my alocasia. Do you think it will be a problem? My apartment is pretty small so I have the majority of my plants in one room any help you can provide I would really appreciate it
1ft to light, indirect
7” pot with drainage
Last watered 6 days ago
I noticed that my longiloba doesn’t need as much light as my other alocasias! I have mine a few feet back from a south facing window with a sheer curtain. She’s been an easy plant for me so I’m sure you got it 😊
@CozyBiglaurel I’m sorry I can’t help but #AlocasiaAddicts #AlocasiaSilverDragon might be able to help.
@CozyBiglaurel I have learned that if you have a question about a certain plant there’s is usually a group for it. If you use # and the name of the plant a group will pop up. Or if you use @ it’ll bring up friends and other people on this site. Just a little info to get more exposure for your question. There’s always someone who will have an answer and help someone else with the same question. Hope that helps πŸ‘‹πŸ½πŸ˜Š
Thank you! 😊
As @Kapuac said longiloba really don't need as much light. Very adaptable plants actually, alocasia.

Longiloba grows wild here In Singapore's forests. Absolutely fantastic
@Araceae Wow!!! I’m really excited now! I’m a new plant mom and thought I may have moved too fast getting her. Maybe I can keep her alive and thriving. She was just so big and beautiful and for thirty bucks I thought it was a steal! You and @kapuac have been very helpful. Thank you both so much! ☺️
