2โ pot with drainage
Last watered 3 days ago
No (or yes if roots are small)Ladrell, she does not need a drainage pot if you spray her with distilled water. If you are soaking her like a normal plant, she will die. Here are some facts:
1st- pick off the dead leaves so new ones can grow
2nd- are you using distilled water? You should put it in a spray bottle and lightly spray it, don't soak it.
3rd- it is getting too little light.
It should get more.
4th- don't tease it and move it around much. That can stress out the plant and kill it.
Food and nutrition- make sure you are feeding it with tweezers. Water and sun is really all it needs. Bugs and insects are a treat. Do not let them fly around as that can kill it.
Water schedule- water it every 3 days.
TIP- for its "little snacks" you can get liveealworms and flightless flies at pet smart/pet Co. You cut the meal worm if it is too big then put it in.
I hope this helps! This is what happens to mine and I haven't got one since because I never had time, but I lived for a while! Have a fun time raising your plant @WillCorrea17! โค๏ธ
For the pot (I forgot to put this above) at least 4 to 6 inches deep with a diameter of 4 to 5 inches. If the roots are more at the bottom, then yes. It should have drainage holes. But if not to the bottom, then no. It should be kept in plastic or resin pot too. An insulated option can be white plastic or Styrofoam to keep the roots cool. And PLEASE avoid unglazed terracotta. They can take minerals and kill your plant e overtime. Best time to replant is early spring, and use a carnivorous plant mix while planting. Don't use standard potting soil or fertilizer bc the minerals could kill the plant too. (I got this off a website so credits to the planting website)
