New Habanero Dropping Leaves
Got this guy about 10 days ago and he’s been kind of withering in my care. In the last couple days most of his larger leaves have dropped off. It’s possible I’ve been overwatering (every 2-3 days) so I’m going to back off to once a week, but I’m wondering if there could be something else I’m missing. It’s still dropping down to the lower 50s at night but he’s getting a full 8-10 hours of direct sun on my south facing patio. #leafdrop #HabaneroPepper #PepperLovers #HotPeppers

@OCISLY Too large a pot can lead to root rot because the soil stays wet too long for the size of the root ball. That’s my understanding, anyway. Hope your habanero recovers! 🪴
