Had to repot

I have been putting it off for as long as I could since I just grew this from a seed this spring and I have horrible luck with repotting anything... but I knew there was root problems for a long while now so, I finally, reluctantly repotted my pride and joy πŸ₯Ί
She is so not doing well, there was a lot of damage to the roots so I had to chop quite a bit away. Its been about 24 hours and still no perk in her leaves.
Please share any and all tips to make her live 😭 #DelonixRegia #delonix #flametree #RootRot #Repotting #help #sickplants #flamboyant #bonsaitrees #bonsai

Smart move reporting when there are root (or soil) problems. Now comes the hard part … recovery. Keep it out of direct sunlight for a week or so, and take care of any wind (open windows, fans, air conditioners) during this time too. Water it only when the soil feels slightly dry. And do not fertilize it at all. If you can find a rooting tonic that can help after repotting as well (works on all plants, flowers and trees, just follow the instructions)
Rooting tonic? Like root hormone powder or?
@iibamBlue look for a vitamin solution, like SuperThrive or K-L-N Rooting Concentrate, which help with transplant shock and help promote root growth after transplanting. I haven’t used either of those, the one I use here in Japan is called Menedael (パネデール) a quick search said either of those should work the same.
Best I have is this, I got it thinking it was liquid fertilizer but now im not so sure... had to order it cuz i guess good fertilizer aint a thing in our shops. I also have taproot which is a root hormone powder
Its dropped all of its leaves and I had to snip off a bunch of "branches" that were pretty yellow to try to help it preserve energy to keep its 2 lil baby growths going
@iibamBlue I believe that is a foliar spray, helps strengthen leaves and branches. You won’t want to use that until your bonsai recovers from being transplanted.
