Calamondin plant

I purchased this Calamondin miniature orange plant a couple of weeks ago. I love it, and it's really healthy or it appears to be. New green shoots coming up at the top of the plant. The plant is in like a plastic frame and three is done plastic wire keeping it all together if you can see on my photos. I'm wondering if I should leave it in the frame for now and grow it as it is? It appears to be working.... any advice would be grateful thanks 👍
As long as you don't see the plastic restricting the plants growth. I would say leave it as is, since it will look pretty as is.
I'd say as long as it continues to look healthy, I'd go with it. It's gorgeous and I bet the blooms smell amazing!
Thank you guys I do love it! And it does smell very citrusy 👍
I bought it from a supermarket called Lidl in England. They don't offer any advice just sell plants. I had one a few years ago but died off unfortunately. They don't like the cold in winter so that might be a problem
