It is growing at a snails pace. Any suggestions please?

Sometimes plants seem to grow slowly, then the surprise you! And some plants just grow slowly. In my experience, a fittonia is a plant that grows at a slower pace. (:

Just be careful about watering because your plant is in a big pot. It can easily become overwatered.

Fittonia are native to tropical and subtropical Peru primarily found on the forest floor near water sources. They like humidity. Mine are in a vented terrarium at 80-90% humidity and grow relatively quickly. Put a cloche on top of it and it will be grateful. If you’re able to vent it that would be ideal. Some of my outdoor plants just have a glass mason jar or cup propped up on some bottle caps. That pot is very large so like Sarah said be careful not to completely drown the guy.

Hey!! Not really a tip but just wanted to say I have two and they will flop over and look dead if they’re dry, mine do this a lot. Don’t panic, they stand bad up in 30 mins or so!!
