What's up with this Jacobs ladder?

3ft to light, indirect
6” pot with drainage
Last watered 10 months ago
@HumbleTagetes59 J. Ladder is a shade lover. Too much sunlight, other than morning light will cause it to react unfavorably. Although your card says no drainage holes, it looks like that pot has a saucer under it, so hopefully it does. They prefer fast draining soil as they don’t like to stay moist too long. Maybe a terracotta pot with drainage? A ceramic pot that’s glazed will retain moisture longer than a terracotta pot would. Do you bottom water it? That way the leaves won’t get wet and burned. Maybe add some tags to your post to get others to reply, that usually helps. Also, more pics will help as it’s difficult to see what might be going on. Keep an eye out for pests. But all that being said, it doesn’t look like it’s checking out and declining rapidly. I also see your card says indirect sunlight so it shouldn’t be that it’s getting too much direct sun. Over or under watering can have similar responses to occur. Wish I could be of more assistance. I don’t have a Jacob’s ladder so I can’t pin point directly what might be causing it to react. Best of luck and happy growing.
