Dire need of help for Christmas Cactus

I got two Christmas Cacti- one for me, one for a close friend, from a local private seller- as both of our fathers passed away, and these were just meant to mark the event. Thankfully, the one that was given to my friend is thriving, and extremely healthy (blooming regularly), but mine is slowly (and, possibly, horrifically) withering away. I have used Greg’s schedule for watering, I have tried repotting, I have fertilized…
It is dropping “leaves”, hasn’t flowered since the one time I brought it home (it already had a flower on it), and looks super sickly!
For context, it has been over a year, the pot is plastic, with good drainage; I have both tried watering from top, and soaking the pot; it is more than 3-4m away from the East facing light source; and it is sat beside my Easter Lily who also has not flowered in years, so it’s definitely whatever I’m doing. My friend has done hardly anything with the CC given him, and it has sat in the same pot, in the same spot at his kitchen window, since he received it.

If you can, move it closer to the light and ignore it. I just got one as well, it flowered once and I have a bloom that has yet to open. #ChristmasCactus #FalseChristmasCactus might be more help. 💚
The pot looks like it could be a bit smaller
Definitely a smaller put. Holiday Cacti do well root bound, and don't put their roots too deep. They need a soil that drains well, and good light, but don't like to get too dry, since they are a tropical cactus.
