Is this a burn mark on my watermelon pepermonia ?

I have only north facing windows and am trying to situate my 3 pepermonias properly

Small pink stem one lost 4-6 leaves yesterday (some with this brown discoloration some just soggy) and was sitting right by our living room window (N facing patio)

I just received this larger one this weekend and have it further from the window due to the β€œI think” burns on the smaller plant, but will this be too far from light?

then the third is thriving in the windowsill right by the window? (Still N facing)

I know these are different varieties but could use some advice on light !

Hiya, from your description and pics, it looks like a fungus (phyllosticta), that affects pepperomias.

Since it's a fungus, the cause could be over watering, and/or air circulation.

First, isolate the little guy from the other pepps to prevent possible spreading to others.

Trim back the damaged stems and leaves with clean, sharp scissors (to prevent spreading, thoroughly clean the scissors before using them again ).

A repot with a different pot, and new soil, is the best next step.

You'll want to spray a copper fungicide all over your plant, every 7 days. Copper fungicide is available at most Walmart/Target type stores. I prefer Captain Jack’s, because it works, and the customer service is good (I've called a couple of times with questions). There are other brands, too.

Double check that the new pot has adequate drainage. I've come across ones that have a too small drainage hole for the size of the pot.

Please keep us updated.
