Is a tri-colored philo like a white and pink princess combined? I've never heard of one before! βΊοΈ Sorry I don't have a comparison pic, but I do know these type of philodendrons develop their bright colors as they mature. It's completely normal for it to be mostly green when it's young. You can help the colors develop by providing plenty of light (too much intense direct sun can scorch the leaves, so it would do best in a north or east-facing window), higher-than-average humidity (above 50-60%), regular fertilizing during its active growing season, and keeping the soil lightly, consistently moist (but not too damp or it will develop root rot). Drainage is very important, so make sure the pot has drainage holes at the bottom (they help soil dry out faster and allow excess fertilizer and mineral buildup to be flushed out). Finally, choose a chunky soil that creates pockets of air around the roots. A good example is regular potting soil amended with chunky perlite and either orchid bark or coco chips (50% potting soil, 25% perlite, 25% bark or coco chips). You can also throw in a handful of earthworm castings for some organic matter.
