Well I am not an expert don't know much about this plant but generally speaking the yellow leaves indicate watering issues. Mineral deficiency and light. It can be hard to tell sometimes. Water only when half to 3/4 of the soil is dry. Put in a brightly lit space out of direct sunlight. You can check the soil with a kit to detect mineral shortages. Most of those can be fixed using things we have in our homes. Hope this helps at least a little. I wish you the best of luck. So glad you are here at greg.
Uhhh. No, that doesn't sound like shock (Or at least not any shock I've ever dealt with). The yellow patterning actually looks suspiciously like the damage I got on a couple of plants that had a spidermite infestation until recently.

Have you noticed any webbing appear on your plant? Tinny dots moving around? Other possible signs of pests? I don't think spidermites are the only ones that leave that damage.

On the other hand, the brown one coming in could indicate root rot, or some other kind of infection.

Look into common issues that species can have. Good luck! I hope it pulles through!
@FinePinkgranite Too much light can lead to burning of the leaves, which in turn leads to brown patches and leaf curling. I second it looking like mites.
