Always get a pot with drainage, especially for orchids! They are epiphytic, which means in the wild, they grow on trees, not in soil. Designated orchid pots have slats or holes all around the pot and on the bottom to allow for enough drainage, otherwise youβll get root rot. You can also use a chunky epiphytic soil mix or one thatβs designated for orchids. That might serve you better, Iβve been having issues with root rot using just orchid bark.
βStrugglingβ can mean a lot of things. Please consider that if you want help with something, you are expecting other people to take time out of their day to help you, meaning itβs important to be respectful of the time and effort you are asking of them by making things as easy as possible (not expecting them to be mind readers). Please provide pictures and specific details on what you mean by βstrugglingβ.
