I mean technically you could put her in the ground at the size she is now, just as long as it’s the correct zone, but generally speaking you want to plant after last frost in your state/country.. and or in fall before the ground gets too cold otherwise you’ll shock your plants and they won’t survive/or survive as well.. soil for these buddies are pretty easy they like a little acidic soil fishy poops and/or kelp. Use a soil that’s well draining and β€œwoody” so bark I generally would use is an aroid mix (perlite and orchid bark) mixed with ocean forest (FoxFarm) sand, a little azomite and coco coir mix it all and plant your tree.
