Chamomile is dying

Hi again! So this is my chamomile Rip Hunter, and when I got him he was much more robust and healthy looking, but he’s only gotten smaller and spindlier since then, and pieces keep dying off, he only produced one flower and it died before it finished blooming. What am I doing wrong?
1ft to light, indirect
4” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 year ago
what is your current water and fertilizer schedule, and what are his current light conditions? Is this a long term issue, or did this happen recently? Did it happen after repotting, or anything else notable?
@SesameSeeds777 I’ve had him for 6 weeks, he gets watered about every 6 days with about 1/2 cup, he gets 12 hours of a grow light every day, he hasn’t been repotted since I adopted him, and I havent used fertilizer at all. He seems to have been declining consistently since I adopted him. He was doing fine for a little while, even tried to make a few flowers, but they died before they finished blooming and it’s only been downhill since then
Ok. I feel like you should try 6 hours of light, since this is a full sun/partial shade plant. Full sun is 6-12 hrs, partial shade is 2-4, so 6 seems like a good compromise. As for water, do you top or bottom water? Bottom watering is always recommended because it allows the plant to take what it needs and it strengthens the root system. Chamomile is also a drought-tolerant plant, so you should be letting it dry completely between waterings. You should also be fertilizing.
