Looks like it's dying

I've had it outside, facing south, watering once a week. It's been looking like it's changing colors and drying up. I just found out it doesn't like full sun. But it looks so good in the front of my home. Should this be an indoor plant? Or how can I adjust for the so cal sun?

I completely know the feeling! You can try to get this guy acclimated to bright light by watering more frequently. However, if it still shows negative signs, he should probably live inside for at least a few days to heal. If you want to try him outside again, give him time to heal and then go for it! But remember, extra hydration is key to adapt to bright light! Hope this helps! :)
