From your photo it just looks like the dahlia is nearing the end of its bloom. The petals are curling, the center is more exposed, your foliage looks green and healthy.
Have you seen any bugs? Did it get really hot or rain alot as it was blooming?
If you’re fearful it’s not natural age of the bloom…
You can snip the flower off just above the first set of leaves, watch for the next bloom it will be your indicator of something else is wrong.

It looks 👀 like you have something that loves to eat dahlias 🍽️🐛🪲🌸. Check for caterpillars, they usually leave a telltale sign of little blackish balls of poop 💩. Also check for earwigs, they shred leaves and flowers! Snails 🐌 and slugs also love dahlias but you probably would have seen them by now and their trail of slime 🐌🐌🐌

@Bmd @MariansOasis well it probably didn't help that we forgot to water the planters one time... But for a while already, the blooms have never fully opened.. like something was eating the petals as they opened 🥴 but I'll check for bugs.
I suppose it's earwigs, cause we have tremendous trouble with them every year!🫠😄
