Do you use rainwater or distilled? Calathea are picky with their water. Also make sure to do general checks for spider mites and wipe the plant down regularly

Thanks for your information. I did use regular tap water and it got worse. I will try to use defused water from now on.

I have learned that to much direct sun can burn the leaves. I believe indirect light is best.
