This is my Crown or Queen of Thorns. I’ve done everything...

#Euphorbia
It would probably be best to make the soil a little less organic matter heavy. Event though there is a lot of perlite which helps in drainage, the soil can still compact over time as perlite rises to the surface when watered.
@LucidAgapanthus I used a blend of cactus soil, perlite, and sand. Do you think that’s still too compact? οΏΌ
@LucidAgapanthus also what would you recommend in media?
@PrimoFlax91 it depends what brand of cactus soil was it. I generally like to stay away from ones with peat as they usually retain too much moisture. I usually use a mixture of perlite, lava rock, pine bark fines, and a tiny bit of extra organic matter for nutrients. If it’s for a more water needy cactus or succulent a mixture of a cactus and succulent soil without peat mixed with perlite does the trick. That’s the only thing I can think of that could be wrong in you setup though everything else looks nice. The two mics usually look like this. The one on the left with the astrophytum is Rosy soil cactus and succulent blend, while the more rocky one is Tinyroots succulent and cactus mix. They are both on Amazon for around $20 a bag.
@LucidAgapanthus awesome thank you!
