Not getting enough light? Or just a freak?

I’m not sure what’s happening here lol. I thought it wasn’t getting enough light so I moved it directly to the window sill (north facing) and it started sprouting the second little guy. Is this normal behavior or am I messing something up? I love it and think it’s goofy, but want to make sure I’m not neglecting this guy

It's actually flowering. But yes, it's also a bit etiolated from insufficient light. North-facing windows don't get any direct sunlight (if you're in the northern hemisphere), so I'd recommend moving it right up to the window as close as you can get it. Also try rotating it every few weeks so it doesn't lean to one side. An east-facing window would also be a good spot, since it only gets direct sun in the morning.

You can remove the flowers if you want. Flowering requires a tremendous amount of energy, so a flowering plant won't be spending as much energy on leaf growth πŸ€“
