Hi Lennart!
It looks like your Ficus might have some root rot. The brown and mushy roots are a sign of this. Here's what you can do:
* Remove the rotten roots: Gently remove the plant from the pot and cut away the rotten roots using a clean, sharp knife.
* Repot the plant: Repot the plant in a well-draining potting mix. Make sure the pot has drainage holes.
* Water wisely: Water your Ficus thoroughly, but allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings.
* Provide adequate light: Place your Ficus in a bright, indirect light location. Avoid direct sunlight, as this can scorch the leaves.
With a little TLC, your Ficus should recover. Keep an eye on the plant and adjust your care as needed. If you see any further signs of root rot, you may need to repot the plant again.
