Is this a monstera?

#Monstera hi! My partner picked up this plant as a gift for our anniversary yesterday. The tag for it just says β€œfoliage” but Greg identified it as a monstera albo. Is that what this is? I only ask because I started doing research and learned that monstera albos are somewhat rare, and large forms even rarer. I am wondering if this is actually a monstera or a more common plant that just looks like it.

It could also be a Thai constellation, which is also rare! I’m gonna do some quick research and update in a sec!
It looks like a Thai constellation from my research! Congrats because that’s actually one of my dream plants, they’re absolutely gorgeous🩷
That’s a monstera albo all right!! Looks a lot like the one I recently picked up, the variegation is β€œThai Constellation.” They grow a bit slower than normal monstera and require a bit more upkeep, but like normal monstera are very hardy & rewarding :)
@Slyvie wow! My partner says he found it at Trader Joe’s. Seems like we found a gem 🧑 I’ve wanted a monstera for a while but this is cool!
@rayslay25 thank you! πŸ’š it sounds like it is rare! My partner found it at Trader Joe’s. I’ve wanted a monstera for a while now so I’m very excited!

Hi! This IS a monstera Thai constellation, @Slyvie is right, which is different than a monstera albo, but they are both monsteras. Albos were a variety found naturally in the wild, and Thai constellations are lab-made. Thai cons are much more common now, thanks to tissue culture, and that is why you now find them in places like Trader Joe’s for great prices πŸ₯° Thank goodness they’re not thousands of dollars anymore!
Im 78% sure it is
@DreamMachine oh wow!! I was wondering if there was a difference. Thanks for the clarification!
@DreamMachine this makes so much sense. Thank you!!
Yes!
