Fertilizing in the winter?

It's still early February here in cold Canada, but I started adding some fertilizer, when it's watering time, on plants that I see are still growing shoots.

Anyone else do this too? How do your plants respond?
Hey Keith! I personally don’t follow any kind of rule when I fertilize. Just kind of go with the flow for each plant and what they say to you! Different plants have different growing seasons so you can just go by that. Have to add, it’s early Feb here in TN too! HA. Glad your here on Greg:)
I've started using SuperThrive since I saw someone recommend it here on Greg. I've been using it in my propagations, as well as some of my potted plants (at watering time) that look like they could use some vigor. SuperThrive can be used with fertilizer, or on its own. I think it's awesome and I've noticed it working. It's not as strong as fertilizer, so I feel like it's a happy medium for the Winter months if you're unsure whether or not to full on fertilize.

@Boymom-plantmom haha yes thank you for reminding me that it's February everywhere as well. But, can you blame me for adding context? Lol

Yes, good point! I have a few plants where my spidey-sense tells me not to fertilize.
@KillerTofu so SuperThrive is not a fertilizer but can be added to fertilizer? Interesting, I will check it out. Thanks for the recommendation!
@Kanteen Yes! You can even use it without fertilizer :)
@Kanteen lol had too😬 Follow that πŸ•·οΈ sense!!!!!
