What goes well in a bed with boxwood ferns and society ga...
Hi Simone, it looks like you're new to Greg, let me be one of the first to say welcome!
I'm not familiar with society garlic... thank-you for introducing me to it. Beautiful and edible.
As it happens Greg has an article about good planting companions for Tulbaghia violacea. Among others, lavender and rosemary are mentioned due to their similar watering and soil requirements.
Thyme and sage are also suggested.
Not sure about boxwood ferns...or is that boxwood (shrubs) and ferns? Either way, it looks like whatever you add will depend on the available soil space as the clumping grassy base of society garlic looks like it will demand a lot of elbow room. That said, sage would make a nice contrast in terms of height and appearance. Additionally, sage can improve soil structure/soil health.
