This could be a few different things. There are some diseases that start off as a small yellow or brown spot and slowly take over the whole leaf. This would be my guess since it's localized. I'd cut off as much of the leaf as you can to try and prevent the spread. Then, keep an eye on the other leaves to be sure they aren't showing early signs.
The second thing it could be is over watering. Snake plants love to dry out and I see that it's in a pot without drainage which traps water. That said, since it's the one leaf I'm not leaning toward that as the culprit.
You are the third person (myself included) who I have seen these issues with. It did resolve for me by removing the affected leaves, though mine were all growing spots and not the entire leaf. Both myself and the other person had them arrive with the disease so know it's likely not something you "did!"
