My plant has multiple yellow leaves! And the green leaves...

#Philodendron
7” pot with drainage
Last watered 2 years ago
Hi Sarah! If you’ve already done the things mentioned above you may try a different soil. Philodendron love a chunky mix (orchid bark). This allows aeration, fast draining, and minimal moisture retention.
Ok! I have some orchid mix. I’ll switch out the soil and see if that helps. Thank you!
Please check the soil
@DynamoLlavea is there something in particular I’m looking for when I check it?
@CleverKaroorose looks like it’s overwatered. Even though you may have repotted recently, the soil could be a water retaining mix. Check soil to see that it’s not retaining water at the bottom. You should also take out the plant to check for any black or mushy root.

Incase you see them, cut off the black and mushy bits, let the remaining roots sit in hydrogen peroxide solution for a couple of hours and repot in fresh substrate.

Please also note that repotting too often can cause transfer shock but if by any chance it’s got root rot, repotting may be your only option.

I would also recommend repotting in a well draining substrate with lots of perlite, bark, coco coir chunks, vermi compost and coco peat.

Hope this helps, happy growing!
Thank you!!!
