Advice needed

New plant carer - I was recently given a false christmas cactus, a snow prickly pear, and a jade plant. Any advice welcome!
2โ€ pot with drainage
Last watered 4 months ago
Jades donโ€™t need much water. They are happy in a well draining soil and indirect light. The stems will get droopy/squishy when theyโ€™re overwatered, but can hold themselves up when theyโ€™re happy! You can propagate from the leaves so if theyโ€™re green when they fall off, you can put em back in soil and theyโ€™ll slowly reproduce. This is my largest jade, named Tree :)
I have a few jade plants and they are a good plant for new growers. They love a well draining soil. I take reg potting soil and add extra perlite (the white balls in the dirt lol). I only water when the soil is completely dry or around 80% dry. The roots donโ€™t like to sit in water, it will rot them. I found that Christmas cactus are the same. Iโ€™ve killed a couple due to overwatering causing root rot. My favorite to mix in with my potting soil for cactus and succulents is Bonsai jackโ€™s gritty mix. Some of my cactus are in primarily this with only 20% soil mixed in and they love it. Itโ€™s sold on Amazon if youโ€™re interested. Hope this helps and welcome to wacky but amazingly relaxing world of plant parenting lol๐Ÿ˜œ
Since ur Christmas cactus doesnโ€™t have drainage be very careful when watering. I would take a wooden dowel or chopstick and check for moisture before watering. Same with ur jade
