How to pot pothos from water to soil?
Could anyone help me figure out what size pot is good for my pothos and give me tips on potting these? The golden marble have been in water since I got them last summer, and through winter. I just got the jade pothos and philodendron cuttings last week. I've been putting off potting the pothos since winter, and now it's the season but I read they like small pots. Are the ones I have in the picture too big for them? I want to plant the two golden marble together like how I got them, and then the philodendron alone, but possibly with the jade pothos.

I would start with a 4 inch pot, no bigger. They don't like wet feet, and like to dry out between waterings. Ideally 1-2 inches bigger than the roots. But since they are babies I always start with 4 inches. Only because any smaller than that and they dry out a little too quickly.
Be sure to add plenty of aeration to your soil.
For my Pothos and Philos I use:
1/3 peat moss
1/3 perlite
1/3 small orchid bark.
They won't grow much when you first move them to soil.
This is because water props have very thin roots because they don't have to work very hard to drink water.
When you first move them over it takes some time before their roots adapt to soil and thicken to absorb water from soil.
So just because they don't start out with new Foilage right away doesn't mean they are not growing. They are just growing under the soil first! ❤️
