Outdoor, Texas bush suggestions?

My White Hawthorns have completely died. I believe they succumbed to some infection/disease, since they’re prone to them.
Does anyone have a recommendation for outdoor, Texan plants that are in a raised bed with essentially full sun?
Ideally it would flower at least once or twice a year 😊🌸
