By any chance do you have a store label that says that it is an Echeveria Prolifica? It looks different from e.Prolifica. It is probably Pulidonis. Yellow leaves that are falling off โ€”โ€” is a sign of overwatering and wet soil at the same time. Do you overwater your plant? Does the pot has drainage holes? Do you use succulents mix soil?
@vvvelo what do you think?
Oh thanks! I didn't know what kind of plant it was cuz I got it from a friend. I water it once a 4 days, is that to much? I didn't know how much to water it because I didn't bought it myself ๐Ÿ˜‰ I go try water it less
Overwatered for sure. Wait until itโ€™s completely dry, roughly 10 to 14 days and make sure it can drain. I water mine throughly, let them sit in a saucer for about 10 mins and then pour all the excess water off. They do better being underwatered than over watered. I also use a succulent soil. On a bright note, you can prop the leaves that have fallen off.
@Merel every 4 days this is too much. I would recommend you to start with watering every 10 days. And then reduce it to every 2 weeks. Since it is getting colder every day it is better to keep succulents on the dry side all the time and donโ€™t keep soil wet for a long time. I would recommend you to watch the leaves. When the leaves become wrinkled (especially bottom leaves) this is the time to water succulents.
@vvvelo and @SportyLilac thank you for your help! Hopefully it works
@Merel No problem! One more thing Iโ€™ve noticed. This Pulidonis is stretching up โฌ†๏ธ. It seems like it does not get enough bright light. Please look into this issue either.
@vvvelo Ohhh is that why ๐Ÿ˜… i already noticed but i didnt know why so. Ill put it on s place with more light ๐Ÿ‘
@vvvelo one last question. One of the leaves that fell of looked pretty good and still alive, so i put it in some soil. Do you think this is going to grow, or kant that going to work?
@Merel sunny, south window works the best for succulents. Also, you can use growlight. In general with the spectrum temperature from 3000K to 6000K. The higher the lumens per watt, the more efficient the light. For Example you can get : LED Day light 5000K, 1600 Lumens. If your growlight below 3000K your succulents will continue stretching. Believe me I had this experience. 5000K is the best, + 1600lumen. Everything below 1600 lumen has so-so results and I would not recommend that light.
@Merel if the edge where the leaf was connected to the stem looks smooth, healthy and have a nod - then it may propagate.
