Just adopted .. tips?

I adopted this Congo plant from a neighbor who moved today … however I have no idea how to care it for it. It’s about 4ft tall.

I think it’s in too large of a pot? I measured 20 inches across.

I have it by the windows that receive (maybe) 5 hours of sunlight. I’ve read mixed reviews on how much sun to give them.

Philodendron 'Congo' prefers for the soil to dry out between waterings and should be watered regularly.

Sunlight Needs
Philodendron 'Congo' can tolerate being far from a window and light source. Place it less than 6 feet from a south-facing window to ensure it receives enough light to survive πŸ’ͺ. Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement in your home 🏑.
They also need a well draining soil.
Hope this is helpful ☺️
@LindaHa11 please move it from direct light as it will burn the leaves.

Your Philodendron prefers medium to bright indirect light. It can adapt to low light, but growth may slow. Water your Philodendron when the top 50%-75% of the soil is dry.
Be careful on your waterings as it’s not in a pot with drainage. You can always use your finder and stick it about 3” below the soils surface, if it’s dry water it if it is still moist don’t water it.
