It kind of does look like a bruise to me, but sometimes something like that can be caused by a pest. Be sure to check your plant friend for any sticky stuff, webbing, spots, or strange bumps! If you do end up finding a bug be sure to use an insecticidal soap or some neem oil on your plant 🛡️🪴
