I need to save my iron cross begonia

A week ago I asked what’s wrong with the plant, as I started to see its heath decline and I was adviced to repot at it had fungus in the soil from over watering. I did it. The plant is still looking bad, worse after repotting. What can I do to save it? It only has one leaf now (photos attached) #Begonia #Indoorplants #HappyPlants
Last watered 1 year ago
Take a deep breath, step back, and wait. This is likely transplant shock, something only time will cure. You’ve done everything right.
Mintyy, as Katherine stated wait and see.
I would also advise based on the photo (seems too wet) and information you provided of rust and fungus, I would change the watering method rather than to water from the plant end, water it from the saucer' end. Water and if there is any water left after 5-10 min remove it.
It's better for begonia to go dry between the watering cycles.
@Floristsdais @grateful_68 @ClassicLavender - I have tried bottom watering, provided it with more sunlight and let the soil dry out a bit …and the plant seems like it is dying now. I have used a well draining soil when I repotted it. What do i do now(
I have just repotted it so I wanted to give it some time@before i got the other pots but it looks like too late now
Even if the leaf died, all hope isn't lost. If there's still any roots or rhizome that isn't mushy, it's still alive. Keep it in the light, out of any cold drafts, and continue to water it like normal (letting the soil dry between waterings). There's a chance it comes back
