How to make sure this plant stays alive?

Hi there! I'm new here.
I'm brand new in planting. I love flowers and so I thought I'd have these water lilies.

When they were 9 days old or so, I transferred them to the soil and kept them soaked in water. But, I didn't know the bucket I used had a hole and I didn't check in time, the soil dried, the leaves dried.

I only have one seed left and this is it, after a few days, there's a leaf now and another stalk growing. How do I make sure this doesn't die? I'm hoping to see some flowers from this. I placed it in a wine bottle, the bottle filled with water.

Thanks for your help! 😊

Wait is it a string of hearts or a water lily?
And I'll say your doing good as a plant parent these things can happen and learning and adjusting is part of that
You did good by placing it in water just be good with washing for algae built up and besides that creating a small water container bucket should work fine and be sure to use mosquito bits/BTI bacteria on the water to avoid mosquito breeding
Hope that helps 🌱
@TalentedBetel71 If it’s a water Lily it needs to be grown in water a pond fish tank . I pick them from a pond often for decorative purposes and they’re at least 3 feet tall . Good luck just remember water is the key . I would use spring or distilled water for them .
This is a lotus [Nelumbo sp.], not a lily [Nymphaea sp.].

You'll need a proper container for it. A wine bottle won't suffice. Best is a ceramic pot without a drainage hole. They need to be planted in pond mud as well. Set in at least 4hrs direct light, ideally more. It's also best to initially have the water level reach the leaf. Young plants need their leaves to be at the surface else they dry out.
