@WhizWoodfern11 Banana peppers out here thriving like theyβre on vacation, while the jalapenos are acting moody in the same zip code? Classic capsicum drama trust meβ¦. Even though theyβre cousins, jalapenos can be a little high maintenance this is fact they like it hot, but not too wet, and if thereβs too much nitrogen in the soil, theyβll go full leaf mode and skip fruiting altogether. Basically, they want spa conditions with zero stress Could also be Not enough pollination action Different drainage or root space even side-by-side plants donβt always vibe the same Just being picky, because jalapeΓ±os can do thatβ¦Might be time to give them a separate spotlight and see if they perk up. Some plants just donβt like sharing the stage!
