Olives are a Mediterranean-style plant; so loamy, earthy materials will be better and feed (fertilize in spring and summer with some boosters once a month or so). Just make sure it’s well-draining and has a little grow room. (But remember to keep the soil moist.) Depending on the variety of olive, they can be pretty cold-hardy. Avoid watering close to the root ball of the plant and water further; against the walls of the planter on them, to create a stronger root structure. 😉🫶🏻🩵🌻🐝
